  1. You can always start with Prince - 1999 (we all know that was the best year to party). I would also suggest:
    David Bowie - Let's Dance
Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance
Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark
Whitney Houston - I Want To Dance With Somebody
    ABBA - Dancing Queen (maybe)

Because it looks like I'm sticking to a theme here, I would also suggest these for a change:
Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes - (I've Had) The Time Of My Life
The Bee Gees - literally everything from 1977 to 1989

That should add a few more hours to your wedding party.

  2. Thanks, Veronica! Those are some quacktastic suggestions. And I like the dancing theme. Subliminal messaging to get more people to dance that way.

  3. Subtraction suggestions:

Vanilla Ice and to a lesser extent MC Hammer(Ugh! I guess theyre normal wedding fare but they are sooooo stupid.)
Journey, Bryan Addams (Cliche and played out as fuck)
Nirvana (great song but I think it may be a little dark for a wedding)
Everlong (Pretty dark but a great love song so I'd say its up to you)
Pumped up kicks (an awesome song for a wedding if you don't pay attention to the lyrics but I don't think most people do)

    Addition Suggestions:

GPF: Young Grasshopper (In honor of the GPF reunion that could have been)
Queen and David Bowie: Under Pressure (Same Bassline but a much better song than Ice Ice Baby.)
Bob Seger: Nutbush City Limits (Sorta an inside joke but it is a silly and fun song.)
Jefferson Starship: We built this city
    Angels And Airwaves: The Adventure
    Coldplay: Life in Technicolor II
U2: Beautiful Day (I know you don't like it but its a good song)
Sting: Fields of Gold (I think you may need a couple more slowjams)
    The Cars: Drive

  4. Counterpoint: Yes to MC Hammer, since Veronica and I have practiced the Hammer dance for that song. I know it's lame and stupid, though that's kind of the point. Though the chance that we chicken out and don't actually dance is high, so maybe don't include the song.

Also, yes to GPF and yes to Nutbush! Actually all of Joey and Veronica's suggestions are good (except U2, boo!).

  5. These are great suggestions and I have taken off some of the ones that are good songs but don't have the right tone. I agree about having more slower songs too. I don't know that I can stomach Nutbush City Limits even if it would be funny. That U2 song is seriously like the most annoying song ever to me, well except maybe chicken noodle soup. Which makes me think, should we include chicken noodle soup?!?! We can give everyone a soda on the side when in plays.

GPF might be tricky to work with the dj, but I will see if he can just do an MP3 that I have submitted to him.

Also watching Justin and Veronica dance to MC Hammer is well worth keeping it on, even if it is cliche, but vanilla ice is gone. Lots of parts of weddings are lame and stupid and I think it is good to embrace some degree of that with a wink wink, nudge nudge.

  6. Holy shit. Cooking Recipes, Romantic songs, Technology and Religion from around the world all in one website! No offense, HiToplay, but I think you need a more focused marketing strategy. I think you might be spreading yourselves too thin cramming all of that into one website. Here is some constructive criticism: ditch all the content on your site that isn't about tomogachis. That way you will have the 2nd grade girl market cornered. You're welcome! I knew all that college I went to would pay of for something. High five!
